About the Blog

All my life I've been surrounded by people who deemed me unable to do certain things because of my gender.

Watching certain films made me feel inferior to the male gender.

However, my mum was quick to get rid of that notion.

She even got me a shirt that said, 'if boys can do it, girls can do it better'.

It was my favourite shirt and I used to wear it all the time.

I was just seven years old then.

Eight years later and I can honestly say that no male is better than me.

 This isn't pride though.

I'm just sure that even if I don't know how to do it now, I can learn how to do it and do it as well as any boy would.

And although we're in the twenty first century and we live in a civilized world, a lot of people are still ignorant of the fact that a female is as good as a male.

There is still discrimination in employment opportunities available to females in comparison to males and females are still seen as weak or inferior to the male gender.

This hurts me. A lot.

This blog was initially created as a way to rant.

Now, the purpose of this blog is to :

1. Provide awareness on issues affecting females.

2. Educate the ignorant.

Please stick around for the ride and don't forget to comment, follow and share.
